Postponement Of Application
The following transfer rules apply for IELTS:
15 or more days before Listening, Reading Writing Test Date
Free Transfer is allowed
Within 5 - 14 days of Listening, Reading Writing Test Date
Transfer allowed – an administrative fee up to 25% of test fee paid is charged
Within 4 days of Listening, Reading Writing Test Date
No Transfer allowed – any transfer during this period is treated as a cancellation.
Cancellation Of Application
The following cancellation rules apply for IELTS:
15 or more days before Listening, Reading Writing Test Date
Cancellation is allowed – a refund of 75% of test fee paid can be claimed
Within 14 days of Listening, Reading Writing Test Date
Cancellation is allowed – Test fee is non-refundable
Illness On The Day Of The Test
If you are ill on test day, please notify the IELTS team by phone or email. We will require the following document within five working days of the test date:

An original medical certificate covering the Test Date
If we have not received the required documentation by the fifth working day after the test, you will be marked as absent and forfeit all claims.
If the document reach us within the deadline you have two options: a refund of the test fee, less the administrative fee of 25%, or a single transfer to a new test date (within three months of the original test date).
Candidates who opt for a transfer to a new test date and who are ill on the second test date are not entitled to transfer to a new test date or to a refund of the test fee.
